"Zero" team Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Aanand L Rai, R Madhavan bond over samosas pre-release

Aanand L Rai has become one of the most demanded directors after he made content films Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Nil Battey Sannata, Raanjhanaa and wrote Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, all of which tasted success and brought about a fresh change.

Knowing this is his forte, the same is expected from his upcoming release Zero which stars Shah Rukh Khan as a vertically challenged man along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Shah Rukh Khan, who hasn’t had a great experience at the Box Office in recent times, needed a movie like this, the director himself had also confessed.

Apart from making Shah Rukh Khan’s career, the director has another talent, which was posted on the Red Chillies Entertainment YouTube page. Aanand L Rai has a special fondness for samosas, so to tease him, SRK had created a signboard which stated ‘Pehle mera samosa waapis karo’ which also featured Aanand L Rai’s face.

The filmmaker’s love for samosas goes to the extent that now when he went out for lunch with his Zero team involving Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and R. Madhavan, the special dish there was nothing but samosas.

While Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif play the lead roles in the film, R Madhavan, who regained his popularity in Bollywood with Aanand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu franchise, will be seen in a cameo appearance in Zero.

Although the four of them seem to be having a great time, we definitely miss the main lead of the film Bauua Singh aka Shah Rukh Khan, since afterall ‘Woh jiske peeche lagg jaate hai, uski life bana dete hai’.
