Latest Buzz: Is Anushka Playing Jhansi Rani In Sye Raa?

Queen of Jhansi for Hindi audiences is Kangana Ranaut but for Telugu audiences, it can be none other than Rudramadevi, Anushka Shetty.

The Sye Raa team tried different people but they would always end up with Anushka as the perfect choice it seems.

So, they had to wait for Anushka to get ready for the shoot and the actress gave dates on priority basis to finish off Sye Raa, it seems.

She concluded her part recently and she will be seen as young Jhansi who gets inspired by Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy to bravely fight against the Britishers.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is acting in the lead role and Nayantara, Tamanna, Niharika Konidela, Sudeepa, Vijay Sethupathy, Amitabh Bachchan are cast in the film along with Jagapathi Babu and BJP MP Ravi Kishan.

Surrender Reddy is directing the film with Amit Trivedi as Music director and Ratnavelu as DOP.  Ram Charan is producing the film.
