New Biopic: Is That Jayalalitha Biopic Shelved?

Kangana Ranaut, Ramya krishnan, Nithya Menen decided to become on-screen Amma(s) in the character of Jayalalitha, for their respective biopics.

Ramyakrishnan's Queen websites in the direction of Gautham Menon and another director is getting ready for release.

Nithya Menen is learning Tamil perfectly to speak like Jayalalitha and soon, her film will go on floors, say sources. Priyadarshan is behind the camera for the film.

Kangana Ranaut's film is helmed by AL Vijay. The director's recent movies being flops at box office might have affected the film.

Reports suggest that Thalaivi is shelved for time being even though the actress gave dates and is ready to start a special diet to put on weight. She even started learning Tamil for the film.

The financial problems for the film have made it a tough task to get it on the sets, it seems. A budget of 50 crores was fixed but arranging finances became a problem for producers, it seems. Until they find new producers, the movie can be termed as shelved, it seems.
