Actors Gossips: Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas donate Rs 75 lakh to assist women in fight against coronavirus

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had already raised their donations to varied other organizations including Narendra Modi's PM Cares Fund, for those fighting against coronavirus

1. $ 100,000 to women fighting coronavirus

Sharing the news, Priyanka shared a picture which read, "We are going to be donating $100,000 in total to women who are rising above everything during this crisis. If you recognize a lady we should always highlight, share her story with us, whether she's within the industry , from an outsized business, small business owner, or first responders on the front lines. we would like to commemorate her. #TogetherWomenRise." She also posted a video spreading the word that she and Nick would donate US $ 100,000 i.e. INR 75 lakhs towards the cause.

2. 'Doctors Without Borders'

Nick and Priyanka donated to 'Doctors Without Borders' so as to stay their program running in order that they could help treat patients.

3. PM Cares

A fund launched by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PM Cares's objective is to supply relief to those suffering from any emergency, the primary being coronavirus.

4. 'No Kid Hungry'

'No Kid Hungry' works towards ensuring that children in America who are locked up in class during the pandemic get food thrice each day .


5. 'International Association For Human Values'

'International Association For Human Values', also referred to as IAHV, is an association between The Art Of Living Foundation and therefore the Indian Film and tv industry. The goal for them is supporting daily wage workers and their families with groceries.

The world needs our help more than ever. These organizations are doing amazing work by helping those impacted by #Covid19. They are feeding the hungry (including children out of school), supporting doctors and first responders, helping low income and homeless communities, and supporting our colleagues in the entertainment industry.
