Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has reportedly been admitted to a hospital after she was tested positive for novel coronavirus. The actress was reportedly shooting for an internet series in Hyderabad which is when she started showing symptoms of COVID-19.

After Tamannaah felt unwell, she was tested for COVID-19 and therefore the results came back positive, after which she was admitted to a personal hospital, a report from TV9 Telugu states. Tamannaah has been admitted to a personal hospital in Hyderabad.

Bhatia's parents had tested positive for novel coronavirus in August. The actress had then taken to Twitter to share the news. She was isolated at that point too.

"My parents were showing mild COVID 19 symptoms over the weekend and as a precautionary measure, everyone reception underwent tests immediately. The results have just are available, and unfortunately, my parents have tested positive," she had shared on Twitter.

Now worried fans are sharing 'Get Well Soon' messages for Tamannaah on Twitter. they need also been praying for her speedy recovery.

Tamannaah was awaiting the discharge of her movie 'Bole Chudiyan' with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She was also looking forward to resuming shooting for her Telugu sports action-drama film 'Seetimaarr'.

Bolly News: Rekha staff tests positive for Covid-19, the actor tells BMC she 'll get her own test done

Rekha’s watchman had tested positive for novel coronavirus on Tuesday following which a neighborhood of her compound was sealed by the BMC authorities.

Veteran star Rekha’s watchman tested positive for novel coronavirus on Tuesday. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) moved him to the Bandra jumbo facility soon after and also conducted tests of all the opposite staff members employed at her bungalow. All staff members of her neighbor and lyricist Javed Akhtar’s bungalow have also been tested for Covid-19.

While Rekha’s bungalow has not been sealed, the portion of the compound which housed the staff has been sealed.


A civic official, who didn't wish to be named, said Rekha didn't want BMC to check her. She informed the body that she is going to get a test done on her own and submit the report back to them.

Earlier, Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor’s staff members had also tested positive for Covid-19 during the lockdown. the 2 families had undergone tests for novel coronavirus but were found negative.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday. The senior actor was admitted to the Nanavati hospital for treatment.

He himself took to Twitter to ask all those that came in his vicinity within the late 10 days to urge themselves tested also. He tweeted late Saturday, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests, results awaited .. All that is in close proximity to me within the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”

The 77-year-old actor has been related to different campaigns and has also been raising awareness about coronavirus for an extended time. He also featured during a short film titled Family which inspires viewers to not exit of their homes unnecessarily amid coronavirus pandemic.

After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan are tested positive for COVID-19. As per Assistant Commissioner Vishwas Mote, the reports came out at 2:30 pm today. On the opposite hand, Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda are tested negative. Producer Daughter Tests Corona Positive

Bollywood producer Karim Morani's daughter Shaza Morani tested Covid-19 positive today i.e on April 6. Shaza had returned from Sri Lanka within the first week of March and another daughter Zoa returned from Rajasthan on March 16. Shaza had initially no symptoms, but later developed. With Zoa also showed mild symptoms, the oldsters got tested both the daughters. While Shaza tested positive for Corona Virus, Zoa tested negative.

"Shaza had no symptoms but has has tested positive. Zoa my other daughter features a few symptoms so we got both of them tested. Zoa, however, tested negative. Both are admitted to Nanavati hospital. they're in isolation and under observation," said producer Karim Morani. He added that Shaza had returned to India from Sri Lanka on March 6th.

Karim Morani has backed many popular Hindi films including Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Dilwale.

So far, the entire number of Corona positive cases in India rose to 4281 with the pandemic claiming 111 lives.

After pledging to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the movie industry , Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has now reportedly donated Rs 4.80 crore and would transfer the quantity within the workers' account after the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) provides him with their account numbers.

However, this is able to mark only the primary leg of Salman's donation as he's ready to donate Rs 10.50 crore to daily wage workers at a later stage.

BN Tiwari, president of FWICE had previously confirmed that Salman via his Being Human Foundation reached bent their organisation to assist the workers. "Salman’s Being Human Foundation has come to the fore to assist daily wage workers. They called us three days ago. we've about 5 lakh workers out of which 25,000 are in dire need of monetary help. Being Human Foundation said they're going to lookout of those workers on their own. they need asked for account details of those 25,000 workers as they need to make sure that cash reaches them directly," he had told PTI.

Apart from Salman, Akshay Kumar had also donated Rs 25 crores to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s coronavirus relief fund. When asked about his donation, Akshay had said, "Main kaun hota hoon ‘charity’ yah ‘donate’ karne waala? (who am I to donate or make any charity?)”. Doosri baat ki hum apni country ko Bharat Maa kehte hain. Mera yeh contribution actually mera nahi hai. Yeh meri maa ki taraf se Bharat Maa ko hai. (We address our country as Bharat Maa.
