Even as political pundits and legal experts are breaking their heads over the developments in Karnataka and Governor Vajubhai's decision to invite Yeddyurappa as the CM, Pawan Kalyan's fresh comments come as a huge surprise to many rational people as his remarks defy logic.

Claiming that he is aware of this much before, Pawan said he knew that BJP would come to power in Karnataka. What's more? Further to his claim, Pawan said BJP would come to power in Karnataka even if it had got just 85 seats and JD(S) got 40 seats. This is certainly a shocking analysis from PK.

Pawan said he had come to this understanding after speaking to his "sources" in Karnataka who told him that BJP would come to power in the state. He said the above example of 85 for BJP and 40 for JD(S) was given by them.

When media asked Pawan whether this is right or wrong, Pawan passed the buck by generalizing, "everyone has mistakes." He added saying the democratic practices have been diluted over the decades and said that what is happening Karnataka is another example. Janasena chief said, "Not only BJP, TDP, and YSRCP also doing this." He concluded saying he would want to put an end to this horse-trading of MLAs and want to end such politics.

Janasena Porata Yatra From May 20

Meanwhile, Pawan announced his Bus Yatra titled as 'Janasena Porata Yatra' which will begin from 20th of this month. He is beginning the yatra from Ichapuram in Srikakulam and will continue it for 45 days. 

Surprisingly, in a word, Pawan expressed his angst against Centre saying it is unfortunate that the Centre didn't keep its promise of the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh and other promises. He said the Uttarandhra was not developed and expressed his sadness over it is under development.

Ending deadlock in Karnataka over the split verdict, BJP's CM candidate BS Yeddyurappa has been invited to form the government by the state Governor Vajubhai Vala. Governor has sent a letter to Yeddyurappa's residence inviting him to sworn in as the new CM. With this, Yeddyurappa would swear in as the new CM of Karnataka tomorrow (May 17, 2018), Thursday.  He will take the oath tomorrow.

Governor has given 15 days time to Saffron party to prove the majority. With this, Yeddyurappa has comfortable time till May 29, 2018. As of now, Yeddyurappa has the support of 105 MLAs including one independent. He needs the support of 7 more MLAs to reach magic figure and thus sustain the government.

Earlier even before a formal announcement from the Governor's office, BJP Karnataka's tweet stating Yeddyurappa would take the oath as CM tomorrow had created a huge stir. 

On the whole, this is a major blow to Congress and JD(S) who are seeking the opportunity to form the government considering the coalition with the largest majority. Since this is contrary to what had happened in Goa, Manipur and Meghalaya, Congress and JD(S) are fuming over Governor.

Reacting to the development, Congress' spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala wrote, "Vajubhai Vala denigrates the Governor's office, tramples upon Constitution, abuses the law & acts as a BJP puppet. He chooses to serve his Master's in BJP rather than serve the Constitution. As @BJPKarnataka informed in advance, orders come from BJP HQ then the sanctity of office"

All eyes are on what will be the future course of action from Kumaraswamy and Congress.

BJP, which moderately has fewer votes contrasted with Cofewerss, rose as the single biggest gathering by winning in 104 voting demographics out of 222 bodies electorate in a triangular battle between Congress, BJP and JDS. The results of Karnataka have shocked BJP CM candidate Yeddyurappa and party senior leaders who claimed to have a landslide victory of 120 to 130 seats. Even after the whirlwind campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP chief Amit Shah and a few others, BJP has been restricted only to 104 assembly seats.

Out of 46 constituencies where Telugu voters dominate and act as deciding factor (have more than 50,000 Telugu voters), Congress won in 32, JDS won in 9, whereas BJP, which emerged as a single largest party, was limited to only 5 seats. This class early indicates how the Telugu voters stopped BJP to storm into power. Thus they have once again proved their strength and commitment.

While BJP scored zero in Kolar and Chikkaballapur, it got only 2 out of 7 seats in Raichur, 3 out of 5 seats in Koppal and 3 out of 9 in Bellary. Especially, limiting BJP to just 3 in Gali Janardhan Reddy's Bellary is a great shock to the BJP.

As the trends show that BJP has crossed halfway mark of 112 in the Karnataka Assembly elections, saffron party workers have started celebrating outside the party office in Bengaluru. 

Raising slogans and praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP workers celebrated outside the party offices in Bengaluru and Delhi. 

Senior BJP Subramanian Swamy took to Twitter and expressed his happiness over the verdict. He said that it seems his prediction was coming true and that he would hope to see his ‘good friend’ BS Yeddyurappa as Karnataka Chief Minister on May 18. 

"It looks like my early prediction for Karnataka polls of BJP majority is turning out be true,"  Swamy said. "I hope to see my good friend Yeddiruppa as CM on 18 the," he added in another tweet.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh called it a 'historic win' for BJP. says this "is a historic win for BJP." "This I want to thank all the people of Karnataka for voting for us. Ab desh mein Congress khojo abhiyan chalega, kahaan rahegi pata nahi." 

Counting of votes is still underway for Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018. Initially, it turned out to be a neck-and-neck fight between BJP and Congress, but BJP was always found leading from the beginning. 

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah trailing behind JDS(S) candidate GT Devegowda in Chamundeshwari by 18,000 votes and leading by a slender margin of around 200 votes in Badami.

The ruling Congress was ahead in 65 seats, while the JD(S) of former prime minister H D Deve in 40.

Polling was held for 222 of the state's 224 constituencies on May 12 following the countermanding of election for the Jayanagara seat due to the death of BJP candidate B N Vijaykumar, and deferment of voting for R R Nagar seat over allegations of electoral malpractices. Over 72% of the 4.96 crore voters exercised their franchise.

BJP Leadership elevated Kanna Lakshminarayana as Party's AP President to effectively counter the bad propaganda launched by TDP. Now, TDP is busy preparing the action plan to nullify the impact of Kanna as BJP Chief. The focus is on the alleged corrupt practice focus Kanna when he was Congress Minister for 10 years from 2004 to 2014. If TDP could establish Kanna Lakshminarayana as corrupt, It will have a huge negative impact on the AP BJP. Even the corruption allegations made by Kanna against TDP Government could draw minimal attention from public in such a situation.

TDP would campaign that Modi-led BJP is different from Vajpayee-led BJP which had certain ideologies. The Ruling Party might publicize Modi-Shah Combo as power-hungry, how corruption is happening and institutions has collapsed under the NDA rule.

A staggering cash flow is said to be witnessed in Karnataka Assembly elections that turned out to be prestigious for all three major political parties - Congress, BJP and JD(S). Especially, the fight is between the two national parties who want to win Karnataka by hook or crook since want result of Karnataka is expected to have a telling impact on the 2019 general Lok Sabha polls. Now, one can easily understand why several states - AP, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh - are running out of cash in the ATMs. It is alleged that huge stacks of cash has been shifted from these states to poll-bound Karnataka.

Election Survey: It's A 'Hung' In Karnataka?

A pre-poll survey conducted by ABP has stated that Congress would emerge as the single largest party in Karnataka general elections. However, the survey predicted that Congress couldn't form the government on its own and mostly the result would have a 'Hung Assembly'.

As per the survey, ABP Survey

Congress to lead the poll results with 38 percent vote share, while the nearest rival would be the BJP with 33 percent vote share and the JD(S) to stood third, but may become the decision maker, with 22 percent vote share. The survey estimated that no party could form the government as no party would able to get the magic figure of 112 in an assembly of 225 constituencies.

It is predicted that the ruling Congress would get 97 seats out of 225, whereas BJP would be confined to 84 seats and JD(S) to settle at 37 seats. Though 37 is less, it is learned that JD(S) to play a vital role in the formation of the government.

In the survey, 38 percent people opined that development would be possible only with Congress and 32 percent believed BJP on the development and another 24 percent of people trusted on JD (S). Among the rural voters, 39 percent said to have shown interest towards Congress, 32 percent have hopes on BJP and another 23 percent votes on JD(S).

It is heard that majority of Lingayat voters are showing interest towards BJP and may likely to vote him.

Meanwhile, the people who participated in the Survey, opined 43 percent of people are impressed with Siddaramaiah's work for good governance. Among the CM candidates, the survey found Siddaramaiah as best CM candidate with 43 percent and 27 percent towards Yeddyurappa. and another 27 percent towards Siddaramaiah.
