Rahul Gandhi decided to kickstart his day-long AP Tour with the visit to Tirumala by foot. He flew to the Renigunta Airport on Friday morning and drove to Alipiri. Upon offering prayers at Sri Lakshminarayana Swamy Temple, Congress Chief reached the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on foot.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was able to climb Tirumala hills in 2 hours 40 minutes. While YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan took around 3 hours 30 minutes each, Chiranjeevi managed to cover the distance in 7 hours 30 minutes with long breaks in between.
