All these days, we are told that women are not safe in India. But, even babies are not safe in this cruel world. A dastardly act took place in Kumarpally, Hanumakonda, where a nine-month-old baby girl was brutally raped. The infant was abducted and raped by a man while she was sleeping with her parents on the terrace of their house.
The accused has been identified as Praveen, who used to reside in at the nearby colony. He took the baby to an isolated place and raped her. The infant, who was already unconscious after the gruesome incident, died on the way to the hospital. Her parents are left with inevitable grief and loss.
It is unfortunate to learn that even young girls are not being spared by these predators. The case has been registered by Hanumakonda police and currently, accused Praveen is in the custody. The incident took place at the Tailor street of the town and cops are presently waiting for the postmortem reports of the sexual assault.
