In what could be seen as a quite shocking trend, two hashtags are going wild on micro-blogging site Twitter at the moment. And they both are competitor sites of Twitter. Yes, the hashtags #InstagramDown and #FacebookDown are trending at No1 and No2 spots on Twitter right now.

Millions of Facebook and Instagram users, along with some WhatsApp users, are now complaining that there are some issues with downloading images and other media files. While on Instagram, some photos are not appearing, while Facebook posts are missing out the text and images. The issues are reported from countries like USA, India, Africa and parts of Europe.

While interfaces are working correctly, the issue is coming up with images and a Facebook spokesperson already clarified that they have noticed the issues and working on them currently to resolve the issues at the earliest. Before all that could happen, the hashtags are getting trended heavily on Twitter.

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan has sent clear directives to all the district collectors in the conference held on Monday. Addressing the conference, Jagan said the corruption in the state is too high and it should not be seen in another few days. This is not a difficult task and all the officials should work efficiently to eradicate corruption. 

On that note, Jagan also ordered for shut down of all card clubs (Pekata). "Irrespective of the political background of a leader and pressure, take daring decisions. People should not go to the circumstances that they should bribe the officials to get their job done or roam around government offices for days and months for permission. Take a call, if there is a genuine issue and look into it and solve at the earliest. But if it is something not appropriate, then fix it and don't hesitate," said Jagan.

'Say no to illegal activities, say no to sand mafia, say no to looting and just shut down all the card clubs that are indulging in gambling," added Jagan and further said for collectors that we are here to provide better governance for people and we are not rulers, we are at their service.

All these days, we are told that women are not safe in India. But, even babies are not safe in this cruel world. A dastardly act took place in Kumarpally, Hanumakonda, where a nine-month-old baby girl was brutally raped. The infant was abducted and raped by a man while she was sleeping with her parents on the terrace of their house.

The accused has been identified as Praveen, who used to reside in at the nearby colony. He took the baby to an isolated place and raped her. The infant, who was already unconscious after the gruesome incident, died on the way to the hospital. Her parents are left with inevitable grief and loss.

It is unfortunate to learn that even young girls are not being spared by these predators. The case has been registered by Hanumakonda police and currently, accused Praveen is in the custody. The incident took place at the Tailor street of the town and cops are presently waiting for the postmortem reports of the sexual assault.

Very recently Kasthuri visited her home town and decided to donate the land to the government. She met minister Cherukuvada Sri Ranganath Raju and conveyed her intentions. The minister immediately sought CM Jagan's appointment.

Getting to know about, Jagan too met her and was pleased by her gesture to donate land which is worth crore of Rupees. Jagan along with YSRCP ministers and MLAs felicitated her and appreciated her kindness.

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has survived three heart attacks previously, one in last year too

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam, who had been in news for his upcoming movie with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, suffered from cardiac arrest. He has been admitted to Greams Road Apollo hospital in Chennai. This is not the first time when Ratnam suffered from cardiac issue.

Mani Ratnam suffered heart attack first in the year 2004, on the sets of the movie Yuva. The film starred Ajay Devgn Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rani Mukerji, Vivek Oberoi and Esha Deol in lead roles. Almost a decade later, in the year 2015, the Ok Kanmani helmer had his second attack. He was holidaying in Srinagar, Kashmir but had to fly down to Delhi in order to get himself treated. The family managed to keep the situation private for the longest time.

After 2015, news reports stated that Mani Ratnam had been hospitalized in 2018, for heart issue again. The hospital however asserted that he was admitted just for routine check-up process after he complained of chest pain then. Hence, his latest incident is the fourth time he could have got a cardiac arrest. Lokesh Jey, representing a media house from Chennai confirmed the news by tweeting, "Director #ManiRatnam admitted to Greams Road Apollo hospital due to cardiac problems."

Mani Ratnam was busy working on Ponniyin Selvan, which Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirmed, would be her next film. Latest reports stated that the filmmaker was in talks with Reliance Entertainment for the same. The film has been reported to go on a scale as grand as SS Rajamouli's Baahubali.

Telugu Student Drowns In Boston Beach

A 27 years old Telugu student died as he accidentally drowned in a beach at Boston, USA. The victim is identified as Shravan Kumar Reddy who hails from Bellampalli of Mancherial district.

This incident happened while Shravan along with his friends were celebrating Easter alongside the beach on April 20. Efforts are being made to trace Shravan's body. The officials suspect that Shravan doesn't know how to swim, yet he entered the water.

About Shravan Reddy's family details, he is the eldest son of Reddy Rajaram, an SCCL employee in Bellampalli. Shravan flew to the US in the year 2014 to pursue higher studies. He is said to be doing an MBA and had plans to return to India to set up a business.

Family members of Shravan are informed about this incident and they are devastated. Shravan friends are in talks with the Indian Embassy to ship the body to India.

A 43-year-old businessman died in hospital in Powai last week, within almost 40 hours after he underwent a 12-hour-long hair transplantation procedure at a clinic, police said Wednesday.

The businessman, identified as Shrawan Kumar Choudhary, had attended a hair transplant session at a private clinic at Chinchpokli in central Mumbai on March 7, a police official said.

Choudhary, a resident of Sakinaka, suffered complications soon after the procedure which ended at 2:30 am on March 8 (Friday), he said.

Choudhary was taken to a hospital in suburban Powai the next day after he developed breathlessness and swelling in his throat and on the face, the official said.

He died on Saturday (March 9) evening due to an allergic reaction in the hospital, he said.

According to police, the businessman showed symptoms of anaphylaxis, serious life-threatening allergic reaction.

Police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation is underway.

In his statement, the dermatologist, at whose clinic Choudhary underwent the procedure, said the businessman wanted to graft 9000 hairs in one go, which was against medical advise, the official said.

Getting more than 3000 hairs in a single sitting was also not advisable, but, in this case, the transplantation went on for more than 12 hours, he said.

Police are awaiting the final postmortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death, the official added.

The incident took place near Viviana Mall at Thane when a biker crashed into her car around 1:30 pm on January 29, 2019. Two of his friends had accompanied the biker. Shamita Shetty, then, reached Rabodi Police Station in Thane and filed an FIR against the three men who are yet to be identified. The details of the biker were provided to the police by Shamita’s driver. A case has been registered under sections 279, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal code. The police officials revealed that vehicle has been identified and the case has been registered against the trio.
