With elections are only two weeks away from now, tempers are raising in Telangana. While TRS is doing its best to put their rivals in spot, TDP and Congress are putting up a brave face and making it tough for TRS. Amidst this, TDP's Nama Nageswara Rao is playing a crucial role in Khammam district, the district which has a strong base for TDP.

While TRS had won only one seat (Jalagam Venkat Rao) out of total 10 seats in Khammam. Though six other MLAs have later jumped to TRS and thus increased its strength to 7, TRS still has jitters over Khammam.

In this backdrop, TDP's strong leader from Khammam and former MP Nama Nageswara Rao are in news for wrong reasons. A Hyderabad woman has complained to Returning Officer of Khammam about Nama. In her written complaint, she alleged that Nama is harassing her and also alleged that he has "hidden" her police case (she had lodged in Jubilee Hills police station against Nama) in his nomination filing. She demanded the election officer to disqualify Nama's nomination and asked him to debar Nama from contesting polls in Khammam Assembly. She alleged that Nama is mentally harassing her and is spreading rumors against her.

As the issue took place at Khammam Tahsildar office that is just a few kilometres away from Nama's infrastructure company Madhucon Projects and in his hometurf Khammam, it has caught all the attention.

This is not the first time, the woman has made an issue against Nama. The same woman, Sunkara Sujatha, had earlier alleged Nama of harassing her for "sexual favor". She also alleged that Nama had beaten her at her house and threatened to leak her "nude" pictures.

Although Nama hasn't responded on this incident that unfolded yesterday in the heart of Khammam, his supporters allege that it is a political sketch by his rivals who can't defeat him in polls directly.

A month ago, veteran actor Alok Nath was accused of rape by writer Vinta Nanda. It was reported that after a month, Mumbai Police registered an FIR against Alok Nath under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). In her complaint which was filed on October 17, Vinta Nanda had alleged that she was drugged and raped by Alok Nath 19 years ago when they were working on a TV show named Tara together.

Now, the defense lawyer of Alok Nath, Ashok Saraogi, has denied the complaint calling it a false charge against his client. The lawyer, who had appeared in a recent hearing before Dindoshi city civil court for Alok Nath, said that the FIR filed appears to be an improvement on the earlier version of her previous complaint which did not disclose any offense, rape or sodomy. They plan to file a petition on November 23 to quash the FIR. Till Wednesday, November 21, no arrest was made.

Cine and Television Artistes Association (CINTAA) had earlier expelled Alok Nath on November 12 after he failed to give an explanation on the allegations made against him.

Over a month ago, in a detailed Facebook post, Vinta Nanda revealed that she was producing and writing for the show and the lead actor would harass women. Vinta did not name the actor in question; the social media has deduced the name of Alok Nath. The veteran actor was the lead actor on the show and has had an image of Sanskari Babuji on camera for several years. Vinta later confirmed that she was indeed talking about Alok Nath if the Sanskaari actor did not make it clear to anyone.

After Vinta’s post went viral, Alok Nath’s wife Ashu Singh had submitted a complaint to seek an FIR against Vinta Nanda for defamation. A week later, Alok Nath filed civil defamation case seeking Re 1 against her as damages. Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court dismissed the case as they found that neither of them could claim that the Facebook post had defamed them.

That night, She received a text from Bhushan Kumar - 'I would love to know you more. Let's get together sometime'. She replied - 'Absolutely! Let's go on a double date. You bring your wife. A Cab Driver had allegedly followed Singer Vasundhara Das for over 4 km and even blocked her way twice only to abuse her with filthy language. This incident of road rage happened at 4.30 PM on Monday near the 13th Cross bus stand on Margosa Road in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.

Vasundhara Das stopped her car at Bhashyam Circle when the traffic signal turned red. On the left side of her vehicle, A Toyota Etios was waiting to take a right turn. The Singer headed straight towards Malleswaram soon after the green signal flashed. This move eventually prevented the Cab Driver from turning right. Offended by it, The Cab Driver kept chasing and honking at her. He stepped down of the vehicle at a signal and hurled abuses. Vasundhara Das got panicked and drove ahead. The Cab Driver blocked her way once again at the next junction. As the people began gathering in big numbers, He fled the scene to avoid trouble.

A police complaint was lodged by Vasundhara Das. Cops booked a case under Sections 509, 504, 341 and 354 of IPC. The Cab Driver is yet to be arrested.

Popular Bollywood music composer-singer Anu Malik, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women including Shweta Pandit and Sona Mohapatra, has stepped down as the judge of singing reality-show Indian Idol 10.

Sony Entertainment Television released a statement which reads, "Anu Malik is no longer a part of Indian Idol jury panel. The show will continue its planned schedule and we'll invite some of the greatest names in Indian music as guests in Indian Idol season 10."
 

Mr. Malik also confirmed his exit from the show. "I, Anu Malik, have decided to take a break from Indian Idol as I am currently unable to focus on my work, my music and the show," he told PinkVilla.

Anu Malik had been judging the show since its inception. In season 10, he was accompanied by Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani on the jury panel.

Several women have come forward to accuse the singer-music composer of sexually harassing them at various instances but he has denied all the allegations.
