Breaking News Viral Video: Indian Pilot Beaten By Pakistani mob

Just a few hours ago, an upsetting video has been released by Pakistan government that showed Indian IAF officer Abhinandan Vardhaman blindfolded and answering to the questions asked. India has confirmed the news on missing pilot only after the video was released.

Now, another video is swirling on the internet that shows Abhinandan getting beaten mercilessly by Pakistanis. As an Indian, it will break your heart to watch your hero in such a condition.

Looks like they are satisfying their built-up anger by repeatedly kicking our Wing commander until his face started bleeding. This brave IAF officer became a victim today and netizens, out of distress, trended the news with a hashtag -'Bring Back Abhinandan'. Pakistan, instead of treating him like a prisoner of war, has manhandled in a cruel way.

Indian Armed Forces(IAF) strikes: Amitabh Bachchan bows down to congratulate Indias win, says "Abhinandan"

Amitabh Bachchan bows down to congratulate India's win says 'Abhinandan'

Amitabh Bachchan has broken his silence on India's win over the Pulwama attacks through IAF's pre-dawn air strikes on Pakistan terror camps. He congratulated India by saying 'Abhinandan' and sharing various Indian National flag emoticons on his Twitter handle.

"T 3103 - Abhinandan .. शीश झुका कर .. अभिनंदन," he wrote in one tweet. In a previous tweet, Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo of his humble self. See his posts here:

Interestingly the social media is praying hard for Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthman's return from Pakistani territory. Videos of the commander saying 'Sorry sir, I am not supposed to say this' has made Indians proud. Indians have created trends like #AbhinandanMyHero, #अभिनंदन and #WingCommandarAbhinandan for the same.

Talking about India's win through IAF strikes, Amitabh Bachchan wasn't the first one to congratulate India. Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar were one of the first Bollywood celebrities to hail the Indian Government and Air Force for the brave act. Many other celebrities had lauded Indian armed force and Government's act of IAF pilots for carrying out pre-dawn air strikes on Pakistan's terror launchpads, 12 days after the Pulwama Terror Attack.

IAF sources said a dozen Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it. The strike was carried out at 3:30 am on Tuesday, sources said, adding that about 200-300 terrorists are supposed to have been killed in the strikes.

India News: It Was A Sleepless Night For PM Modi

In a strong counter to Pulwama terror attack, the Indian Air Force has conducted an air strike on three major terror camps in Pakistan using the Mirage 2000 fighter jets. The Operation is said to eliminated a large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, Jihadis and a senior commander. But, what went behind this successful operation is several hours of planning.

When our Air Force was conducting an air strike on terror camps, Indian Prime Minister Narendra was reportedly monitoring it from our control room. The higher official has disclosed that PM stepped out the control room only after our fighter jets returned safely to India.

He is said to have spend a sleepless night and continuously monitoring the situation from Monday night. Even during the surgical strikes in 2016, PM was tracking all the updates from Army officials and wanted to make sure all forces returned safe.

Flash News: Surgical Strike 2.0: India Confirms The Attack

In a press conference, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed that Masood Azhar-led JeM is active in Pakistan and is responsible for a series of terror attacks, including the 2001 Parliament attack and Pathankot airbase attack. "A suicide attack was conducted on February 14, leading to the martyrdom of 40 brave jawans of CRPF," said Gokhale.

Explaining about Indian Air Force's strikes as a response to Pakistan's recent attack on CRPF Jawans, he said: "India struck the biggest training camp of JeM in Balakot. A large number of JeM terrorists were killed.

Top commanders were eliminated in the strike. The strike avoided civilian casualties." He added that this action was specifically targeted at the JeM camp. "We avoided civilian casualties with the selection of the camp, which is located deep inside forests, isolated from civilian areas and located on a hilltop."

Adding on the intelligence inputs, Vijay Gokhale said: "Credible intel was received that JeM was planning more suicide attacks in India. In the face of imminent danger, a preemptive strike became absolutely necessary. The Government of Pakistan in 2004 made a promise to India that it allow its soil or the country's resources for terrorist operations. But it has violated its promise."

However, he said that India has provided information about JeM's operations has to Pakistan from time to time but it has always denied knowledge of their existence. "Since the action took place just hours ago, we are waiting for more.

UNSCs strong condemnation of Pulwama terror attack "contained specific language proposed" by New Delhi

The UNSC comprising 15 permanent and non-permanent members including China, on Thursday condemned in the "strongest terms" the "heinous and cowardly" terror attack perpetrated by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), in a show of solidarity and support to India.

The UN Security Council resolution on Pulwama attack contained specific language proposed by India through its partner countries including the naming of JeM and calling for bringing the perpetrators of the crime to justice, official sources said Friday.

India has mounted a diplomatic offensive to isolate Pakistan in the international community for its support to terror groups and cross border terrorism.

In the resolution, the UNSC also reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security and underlined the need to hold perpetrators, organizers, financiers, and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable and bring them to justice.

1. Unanimously backed by all including China

The resolution was adopted unanimously by the UNSC including China and it contains specific language that India had proposed via partner countries, including on the naming of JeM and bringing perpetrators to justice, the sources said here.

The UNSC urged all States, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, to cooperate actively with India and all other relevant authorities to bring perpetrators of the Pulwama attack to justice.

It also reiterated that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed.

Forty CRPF jawans were killed in a suicide attack by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14, sparking outrage in the country.

2. UNSC condemns in strongest terms

In a strong show of international solidarity and support for India, the powerful UN Security Council comprising 15 nations, including China, on Thursday condemned in the "strongest terms" the "heinous and cowardly" terror attack perpetrated by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pulwama and stressed on the need to hold organisers and financiers of such "reprehensible acts" accountable and bring them to justice.

Significantly, the press statement, issued by the most powerful UN body, names the Pakistan-based terror group headed by Masood Azhar.

The UNSC, which includes China as a veto-wielding permanent member that in the past has blocked India's bids in the Security Council Sanctions Committee to designate Azhar as a global terrorist, also called on the global community to "cooperate actively" with the Indian government in holding the organizers and sponsors of such attacks accountable.

3. JeM responsible

"The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in over 40 Indian paramilitary forces dead and dozens wounded on February 14, 2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility," the UNSC press statement on the 'Suicide Bombing in Jammu and Kashmir' said.

"The members of the Security Council underlined the need to hold perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable and bring them to justice, and urged all States, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, to cooperate actively with the Government of India and all other relevant authorities in this regard," it said.

4. Deepest sympathy

The UNSC members expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the Indian people and the government, and wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.

"The members of the Security Council reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security," the statement said.

The members also reiterated that any "acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed".

The condemnation by the UNSC comes just a day after Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Maleeha Lodhi met top UN leaders, including with Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council President Anatolio Ndong Mba, briefing them about the escalating tensions in the region in the wake of the Pulwama attack.

5. France to move proposal against Azhar at the UN

In a major boost to India's efforts to get Azhar on the list of global terrorists, France is expected to soon move a proposal at the UN to ban the head of the UN-proscribed group.

The proposal, when moved, will be fourth such bid at the UN in the past 10 years.

In 2009 and 2016, India moved the UN's Sanctions Committee to ban Azhar, also the mastermind of the attack on the airbase in Pathankot in January 2016.

India was joined by the P3 nations -- the US, the UK, and France -- in the 2016 proposal. In 2017 also, these P3 countries moved a similar proposal at the UN. However, China, using its veto power, has always blocked the proposal from being adopted by the UN.

Guterres too had strongly condemned the terror attack, in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed when a suicide bomber drove his explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus and called for those behind the attack to be brought to justice.

On Wednesday, Guterres again reiterated his strong condemnation of the Pulwama attack, stressing that it is essential there be accountability under international law and perpetrators of terrorist acts be brought swiftly to justice.

"The Secretary-General has been following with great concern the situation in South Asia. He reiterates his strong condemnation of the terrorist attack against Indian security forces in Pulwama" in JK and the subsequent violence, a statement issued by his spokesperson Stephane Dujarric had said.

Pulwama Attack: "India Should Break All The Cricketing Ties With Pakistan"

Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh shared his opinion that India should not play Pakistan in the 12th edition of the cricket world cup because of the Pulwama attack that took the lives of 49 CRPF soldiers.

"Indian team is very strong enough to win the World Cup even without having to play Pakistan. I think India should break all the cricketing ties with Pakistan as a mark of respect for the armed force. Country comes first and we are all standing behind our country. The attack was unbelievable and very wrong," said Bajji. BCCI has already broken all ties with Pakistan cricket board but they couldn't do anything when playing the ICC hosted events. Even ICC has accepted that it is deliberately making India and Pakistan play against each other in its events.

Though Harbhajan's statements make sense, BCCI is the ultimate decision maker. On the other hand, Indian Cricket Team will have to lock horns with Pakistan Cricket Team on June 16th at Manchester.
